Shooting with the boys

Lindsay and Tatum and I went shooting with the boyz! It was fun. I loved being in the desert with my family. I loved shooting a Pink gun. I loved hiking the rocks with lindsay and making funny faces with tatum. I loved watching justin teach his girls to shoot a bb gun. But my favorite part was when justin was close to me teaching me how to shoot. I love him.

Field Trip to the Farm

Tatum loved the farm! She had no fears feeding the animals, but was bummed she didn't get to RIDE the horses.

Jeep Adventures

I had last weekend off from work so we took the jeep out and did some 4 wheeling in the mud,
Tatum hearts the jeep, and Lindsay not so much so as we are driving up the "primitive road" Tatum says to Lindsay as she is crying "you can put your hands in the air!" (she cracks me up)

we hiked around on the superstitions, it was a lovely day.

Doesn't Mr. Jarvis look hot driving his jeep. He also hearts the jeep. I sometimes heart the jeep.

Then later that night he took me to see Leap Year for the second time! I heart that movie and Mr. Jarvis.

Winning the Lottery at Bass Pro

( Yes thats $20 in QUARTERS)
So this sneaky little girl stole $20 out of my purse to play the shooting game at Bass pro and she and everyone else in the store thought she won the lottery, Im just glad they weren't tokens.

He planted me flowers

I think even better than buying me flowers is planting me flowers! Thanks love for a great saturday! You are the best.

the happiest place on earth

Disneyland is one of my favorites! We went with 20 family members it just doesn't get much better than that and we were all on the same flight! Lindsay and Tatum had a blast, 3 &5 are great ages for disneyland! We all 4 went on space mountain, and yes bad mom of the year goes to me, Tatum hated it. But it was the fact that all 4 of us could go on almost all the rides. I love disneyland.

Kindergarten Rocks

The other night Lindsay starts singing this song to me that she learned at school! It was so cute. She is getting soooo big!! She loves kindergarten, she loves her teacher, she loves riding the bus, she loves buying her lunch, especially the chocolate milk. At the beginning of school she would come home and her lunch box would be full and I asked her why she didn't eat and come to find out her teacher says Lindsay owes the school money for buying her lunch. Little stinker! Apparently the school's PB&J tastes better:)

Perfect weather=fun bike rides

Arizona's winters are amazing! Im loving the weather. It is so fun riding bikes with the girls!! They scare me though, especially Tatum and her bike with no brakes! Her handle bars shake and she puts her legs in the air so she can go faster! And screams all the way down. Just watch the video!!

Holiday Catch Up

Too great to not REMEMBER!!

It has been so fun having Lindsay in Kindergarten and Tatum in Preschool! They have lots of parties so it means double the fun. Here are some pics from Halloween & Thanksgiving 2009!

Halloween funny story:Lindsay's goldfish costume is a size 3 and she is 5 1/2, you cant see in this pic but it had some problem areas! but she wouldn't have it any other way! When she was taking a bath she filled her mouth with water and squirted it out at me just practicing what a goldfish might do.... Tatum was FiFi the pink poodle.

Thanksgiving: Justin stayed home from work on the day of Lindsay's Thanksgiving feast so he came with me and surprised her! When he walked in, she lite up, she must of hugged him 5 times and introduced him to all of her friends! It was adorable! Tatum went to Lindsay's feast too and Lindsay's teacher brought a chair for Tatum to sit next to Lindsay and they were so cute. Tatum loved the Chicken noodle soup, she ate at least 6 bowls!

Lindsay Street

The name of the new background that I Picked.... Totally appropriate because today we are on Lindsay and Baseline and Lindsay yells from the back seat, That big green sign says my name mom, I see my name. L-I-N-D-S-A-Y! She was so adorable and excited to see her name on the street sign. {And someday when it we are in Scottsdale we will show Tatum her name!} But its more fun when they notice it all by themselves.

XOXO,
Jen Jen

Remebering

Welcome 2010!! A new year is like a breath of fresh air, a new beginning, and lots of resolutions. As I look at my blog I notice that the last post is from May which is absolutely pathetic, but par for me! So in making and announcing one of my many goals for this year it would be... REMEMBERING and finding the JOY each day!!

I have been inspired by many things: (not in any particular order!)
* a book, The Secret Diary of Bret Colten, awesome book!
*by an apostle Elder Eyring, Justin's Favorite
*author Anna Quindlen from Elder Ballard talk to mothers with young children
*by the spirit
*by Nie (Stephanie Nielson) someone I look up to and am inspired by each day

that Life passes by way too fast and you only get to live it once and it could change in a moment of time. And that my little girls are growing up very fast, and I want to remember each magical moment that I share with them.

Elder Eyring's inspiring words,

I wrote down a few lines every day for years. I never missed a day no matter how tired I was or how early I would have to start the next day. Before I would write, I would ponder this question: “Have I seen the hand of God reaching out to touch us or our children or our family today?”

Author Anna Quindlen reminds us not to rush past the fleeting moments. She said: “The biggest mistake I made [as a parent] is the one that most of us make. … I did not live in the moment enough. This is particularly clear now that the moment is gone, captured only in photographs. There is one picture of [my three children] sitting in the grass on a quilt in the shadow of the swing set on a summer day, ages six, four, and one. And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less” (Loud and Clear [2004], 10–11).

Graduation Friday !!

We had a very LOVELY Day...

Justin took off from work (Happy Day) so he could be there for all the festivities!

First, Justin's brother Jason graduated from ASU!
Then My pinning Ceremony...

Then Off to the market to celebrate!
On Stapley/Southern, and it is the Disneyland of markets!
The drinks are heavenly, my two favorites were the Strawberry and Horchata.
YUMMY.

For both Jason and I this is just a stepping stone! But we are one step closer to our goals! Jason is taking his MCAT this summer and I will be finishing up my RN next May. And none of this would be possible without the amazing support that my family gives to me. This was a very special day!

I love days like these.

Happy Birthday TO YOU! TO YOU! (Justin's famous made up line)

Justin's Birthday was on Tuesday he turned 29! It was kinda a hard birthday for him because he is only one year away from the BIG 30! But it was fun on Monday night we had cake and icecream at my parents! Thanks mom for doing everything! I just had to show up, it doesn't get much better than that. And Tuesday Justin and I went out for Sushi, yummy! thanks to my awesome mother-in-law for watching the girl's! So I know its Friday but I wanted to post 29 things that I adore about this man that completes me!

1. I love it when he whispers "I Love you across the room!" like its our little secret.
2. I love how he makes me feel when I am around him! He has a calmness about him that makes the world a better place. Anyone that meets him instantly becomes his friend.
3. I love the dad that he is! Every Saturday he has the girls and it is their special time that they have together with just him. He has embraced this time with his pricesses. A lady at church said to him that he is a good "girl dad" and I agree 100%. He has a softness about him that makes him a perfect shoulder to cry on and just makes everything better.
4. I love that he inspires me and gives me wings to fly. Last week I was taking care of a patient and he asked me what my dreams were and I told him I was living my dream. I am happily married to the man of my dreams, have two adorable little girls that my Heavenly Father has entrusted with, and now I am 3 weeks away (3 quizes, two tests, and boards) from being 1/2 way to my RN! And none of this would have happened without Justin!
5. I love his body! I am kinda jealous that he still has the body that he does and doesn't work out or care what he eats! Would be nice, but I can't complain because I am the one who gets to hold him!
6. I love how he can always make me laugh! and he loves to hear my laugh... whether he tickles me till I laugh loud and obnoxiosly or by his smeagal voice, that gets me every time
7. I love the good example he is to others around him. He has a strong testimony and has a light about him.
8. I love that he is such a fun person he is a Yellow if you are familar with the color code! He loves to have fun in every aspect of life!He is my favorite person to be with.
9. I love that he is a hard worker! He works hard to provide for our family so that I can stay home with my girls and in this day and age is becoming much harder to do!
10. I love his lips! They are great to kiss... They are big and luscious. sorry, they are.
11. I love that he makes me want to better when i am around him.
12. I love that I still get butterflies when he sends me a text or comes home.
13. I love that he kisses me and tells me that he loves me before he leaves for work, with my morning breath and all!
14. I love that he is a handy man! I feel like he could fix anything and i love that. I think it would be fun to redo a house together, an old wrap around porch country home of course.
15. I love the relationships that he has with his family and mine. Sometimes I wonder if they love him more than me!! hI adore his family too! I am very lucky to have the in-laws that I have.
16. I love that he always has kind words to speak of others. He sees the good in others and expounds on those good qualities.
17. I love that he is a kid at heart, i really can't believe his is 29. Because he was the best scout leader ever, he fit right in and spent lots of money getting the coolest nerf gun they make!
18. I love how hard he strives to make me happy! This valentines he surprised me at clinicals and brought me a box of choclates and a homeade valentines card the best kind, it still is hanging up on the fridge, because I loved it so much. Seriously it was awesome.
19. I love how he tries to look cute for me! He always tells me he has to try and keep up with me...
20. I love that my love for him continues to grow and that I love him more now than i did on the day that I married him which i never thought was possible.
21. I love that he is a tease. He will do ANYTHING to get a good reaction. Tatum is following in his footsteps.
22. I love when he calls me Jen Jen
23. I love it when he makes me pancakes and tries to compete with my dad! My dad's pancakes are my absolute favorite food in the whole world, but I just love when Justin takes care of me and makes me food. I grew up with a dad who loves to cook.
24. Which brings me to the next thing i love, I love how Justin takes care of me. It is hard for me to have others take care of me. I like to do everything, I am wierd. But when we were dating I broke my arm in Utah and it was the first time that my mom wasn't there to make everything better, but it was just Justin and I in that hospital room and i felt like a princess, he seemed to take the edge off the pain. That was a turning point in our relationship. I knew from that point on that I wanted him to take care of me for the rest of my life.
25. I love that he always introduces me to everyone like he is so proud to be with me and to have me as his wife.
26. I love that he is dang hot! I never thought I would marry a red head, but never say never.
27. I love that he calls to check on me during the day! He calls just to say hi.
28. I love everything about Justin its hard to pick just 29 things! He is truly amazing.
29. I love that I get to be with him for eternity.

Well My love, i hope that you enjoy this post! Sorry it is late! You mean the world to me.

Love your JenJen

Feel free to expound on this list and leave a comment about how much you love Justin!!

The Dairy Farm

Lindsay Jo was right at home on this dairy farm! When I was there I was really wishing we could have a farm for her to play on for the rest of her childhood years! She loves animals expecially horses! She would have rode the horses if they would have let her. She has no fears in that department. She caught "little ricky" which is the rooster pictured above with her own two hands, which Jason, our farm guide was so shocked he took a picture with his iphone (it was a modern farm!!) and sent it to me. My friend Leslie who invited us to go with her preschool group always told me that 4 is such a fun age and I would have to agree, I love hanging out with Lindsay, I have to admit that sometimes I forget she is a little kid. She is so ready to go on the bus to school and I get sad thinking about it. It truly blows my mind that I will have a child in kindergarten!

Tatum has grown up so much these last couple of months, she is potty trained...wearing little panties, which always makes me want to pinch her buns. And everytime she puts them on she asks me "this way momma" pointing to the princess on the front, she is talking in full sentences, one of my favorite words she says is "guys", it cracks me up coming from a two year old. She also says "I Luv you" really cute. When she was really sick last week and I was giving her her medicine, she said " I don't Like you momma", as tears rolled down her face, and my heart ached inside that she was hurting and I couldn't fix it. Thats what moms are for and I felt as if I was letting her down.

P.S. Thanks Annie for the awesome pictures I forgot to tell you how much I loved them!!
